Just heard the news that the eminent chemist and playwright Carl Djerassi passed away this weekend. Don’t have much to say about this except that he was never recognized for his work by the Nobel committee. I find this ludicrous, especially since his work has impacted billions of people. Chembark shares my sentiments and expresses his feelings much more coherently than I can.
